The images and text posted on SeaScapes Images are available for a negotiated licensing fee and/or as a print. In order to determine the proper licensing fee, the prospected buyer needs to indicate the intended use of the content, in terms of advertising or editorial vehicle, print run, requested rights, time interval, desired format and deadline.
The images and/or text are available in various formats, such as a .doc, .jpg, .gif, .tif or .bmp files. The files can be delivered via email, FTP transfer, CD ROM or Iogmega Zip Disc. Images can also be provided in 35mm duplicate transparencies. In addition, images can be modified, adapted or manipulated by negotiation. Original slide negatives are available for a premium price over a very limited time interval. The permanent rights to original slide negatives are not available and are not open to negotiation.
Prints of any image are available in the following sizes:
8x10, 11x14, 16x20 and 20x24.
The cost for each depends upon the size, protection and mounting of the print. I can provide you with a print only or I can have the print mounted on gatorboard and laminated.
The lamination protects the print and allows fingerprints and dust to be wiped off with a damp cloth. The gatorboard is a light, foam product that
makes the print look like it is simply hovering from the wall. There is no frame or border. The mounted print is incredibly light and resilent.
The Cibachrome polyester base prints come with a 200 year no-fade warranty when laminated. Though somewhat expensive, these prints offer the closest match I have found to the brilliance and depth of transparencies. Almost everyone who has ordered a print has said that they look even better than the image on the web site.
